At Ellbee Ltd our goal is to add value to the international floriculture industry by helping to optimise the shelf-life and presentation of fresh cut flowers.
Through the provision of customised cost-effective products and advice, we take pride in helping growers, wholesalers and exporters maximise their profitability by getting their flowers to market in premium condition.
Based in Tauranga, New Zealand, Ellbee Ltd is headed by neighbouring flower growers, Jane Bryant and Derek Lankshear. Jane and Derek have used re~fresh modified atmosphere flower liners for the past several seasons, and have succeeded in supplying their fresh cut flowers in premium condition to buyers as far away as Asia and the United States.
After experiencing for themselves the benefits of this innovative packaging, Jane and Derek have teamed up and committed themselves to providing flower growers in both New Zealand and overseas with the same market advantages.
Ellbee Ltd is now the international distributor for re~fresh and Australasian distributor for Floralife, and is constantly in the process of developing new customised re~fresh liners for specific flower varieties and usage applications.
In an effort to provide the maximum shelf life expectancy of our own fresh cut hydrangeas, we have also recently perfected a new preservation technique that enables us to capture the essence and texture of the day they were picked. These exclusive stems and table arrangements are being marketed by a separate division of Ellbee Ltd and are already proving popular with discerning buyers in several markets.
